Fairy Wonderland Pendant - Yarrow Elftree

Yarrow Elftree is a forest fairy.
She is the bringer of riches and wealth but can only be seen as dawn breaks and the sun shines through the forest trees.

Faires are a big part of Irish folklore.
The ancient Irish buried their dead above ground and put dirt over the buried. Eventually the grass grew over the mound and hung over in mushroom shape.
The people felt the spirit of the underworld came out of these burial areas. Thus began the stories of unexplainable events that the little people created. Stories grew of leprechauns, little people, fairies, brownies to name just a few.
This whimsy and folklore was very much a part of the history of the Irish.
