Lightweight leather backpack that measure 16"x9"x4". With an outside pocket, and a leather drawstring top and closure, the inside is large and roomy with a zip pocket. This rustic leather tanned the slow old fashion method makes a bag that is rich and classic looking for men or women.  Like all our bags, the more you wear them the softer they get. It is called The Pony Express because it looks like bag that the Pony Express Riders used. The inside is lined with a sail cloth that is waterproof.  There is a large inside zipper pocket and two compartments in the bag as well as a zipper on the front and another zip pocket in the flap.  The shoulder strap is 2 inch wide and adjustable. The bag measures 14"x14" and our staff hauls their computer an peripherals, notepads and personal items around in them everyday.  So these are tested and only get better with time, if that is possible!

Supple and soft, the leather on this bag is tanned the old fashion way using a slow ancient process.  And, the more you wear it the softer it will get! Imperfections in the leather only add to it's beauty. This handmade rugged leather carryall can be carried by a man or a women.  The inside has a full zip pocket and two compartments.  Under the full flap is another full zip pocket. The lining is a sail cloth liked that used by the sailors in the 18th century. Zippers are heavy duty to handle oodles of stress. The long shoulder strap is adjustable.  The front is embellished only by a leather braid which is either straight across or accented at an angle.  Since each is handmade the simple embellishment varies by the leathersmith who made it.  No two alike. At 9.5" x 11" it is the right size and weight to place your things for the day or a trip.
